Understanding the PTE Score Pattern

Scored against the Global Scale of English, PTE Score Reports give an accurate snapshot of test-takers’ performance on a scale from 10 to 90.Along with the major skills of LSRW (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing), it assess and reports individual English sub-skills and enabling skills of the test taker.

With PTE Score Cards, one can see:

Oral Fluency

Natural – paced, effortless and smooth delivery of the speech.

Grammar

The correct use of the word in the formation of sentence and word at the sentence level

Spelling

Is the word which you use is according to the spelling rules of the language will be checked. The variations of every nation are considered. Have to use the same word consistently throughout the exam.

Pronunciation

The production of the speech of the word sounds in a way which should be easily understandable by regular language speakers. National or regional variations are considered to the degree of their understanding by the regular speakers of the language.

Written Discourse

Efficient in the case of communication and correctness of the production of written language at the textual level is measured. These skills are represented by its internal coherence, logical development, represented in the structure of written text and the range of linguistic resources which are used to express the meaning exactly

Vocabulary

The exact and most appropriate choice of words used to describe the context of the as well as the lexical range of the language.
