What is PTE?
The Pearson Test of English (PTE) is a completely computer based examination, that measures the language proficiency of people who want to study or work in places/countries, where English is used as a language of communication.
PTE is a System (computer) based assessment test, which focuses on real-life situations, where English used in academic/non-academic surroundings. It assesses the English language as an integrated language skill system. PTE General (initially developed by The University of London and so was formerly known as the London Tests of English) is International English Language Skill Assessment Test, for speakers of English as a foreign language (EFL).
